Talk on AI
Steve Pearce has worked for many companies that have pioneered the "new tech" that we use in our day-to-day lives. He will demonstrate the impact Artificial Intelligence (AI) is having on our habits from a Christian perspective. He will explore how AI is impacting the time we spend on technology, the decisions we make, and the way we do or do not interact with the wider world, particularly for the young.
Steve will highlight both the benefits and challenges of AI, showing how it can bring efficiency and convenience but also distractions and misinformation that can pull us away from seeking God’s truth.
He will examine how AI-driven algorithms prioritise engagement over truth, contrasting this with the wisdom and guidance that comes solely from God’s Word. He will encourage listeners to reflect on whether their use of technology is aligned with their Christian faith and remind them that true spiritual direction can only be found in the Bible.
